Customer Endorsement: SLOIMBA Tree & Wreath Fundraiser
SLOIMBA Tree/Wreath Fundraiser in SLO County – Orders Being Taken Now!
Order Dates: November 1 – November 18, 2021
Pickup/Delivery Date: December 4, 2021
Have you heard about this? For less than $80 a local high school kid and their friends will hand deliver some of the freshest holiday trees and wreaths right to your doorstep in San Luis Obispo. That’s awesome! This was my first thought when I saw the school flyer announcing the SLOIMBA fundraiser about five years ago. I had recently sold my truck and was not looking forward to strapping a 7-foot tree to top of my new car.
Sure enough, pure joy and satisfaction is the feeling I felt when my tree and wreath order hit my front door step. Not only did someone spend tons of time and energy to pick out a beautiful tree, load it up and strap it down, and walk it to my front door, but my purchase helped pay for a local kid’s band uniform and all the social goodness with being part of a band. And just so you know, these trees stay fresh smelling and looking way past New Years Eve. My past experience with locally bought trees was not so great.
Click here for the order form. It’s live and ready to go.
We have purchased both the Nobel Fir and Douglas Fir in the past. It just depended on what sort of look we were looking for in decorating our tree that year. Both kinds have not dissapointed. Lately, I’ve been purchasing the Doug Fir because I like the fluffy fullness of it’s look and it’s easy to lay ornaments and ribbons across its bushy boughs.
If you’ve never ordered from this fundraiser before, then I highly recommend you give it a try. Here is a picture of our 2020 Douglas Fir tree. Clicking on the tree will take you straight to the 2021 order form.

Well, for one week only, you can skip the grocery store and get farm fresh navel oranges and grapefruit delivered direct from the orchards to us. Deliveries will be made during the second week of December to San Luis Obispo High School where you can pick them up your fruit and take it home. The fruit will be much fresher than supermarket fruit and will last about 3 weeks if it is stored correctly, between 38-42 degrees. Put it in the fridge and then put the rest of the box in a cool place, like the garage or someplace like that.
Each box ordered earns the San Luis Obispo High School Band $10!!
